PodLink now helps podcasters reach more listeners than ever before.
PodLink has helped shows grow their audience by giving podcasters one easy link to share regardless of a listener’s favorite podcast app. Yet, many would-be listeners are unsure how to begin listening to podcasts. Now, PodLink can help reach potential listeners who might not even realize their phones have a pre-installed podcasting app.
To discover PodLink's newest feature, simply add /listen
to the end of your show’s URL and share it. Visitors on iOS will be sent to Apple Podcasts, visitors on Android will be sent to Google Podcasts, and visitors on desktop will be sent to the PodLink landing page.
Deep Linking
Additionally, if you want to send someone to a specific app, such as Spotify, you can add /listen/spotify
to your PodLink URL. This will work for any of the podcast apps visible on a show’s PodLink page.
Update (Nov. 2019): Device-aware links and deep links are now available for episode pages as well! If you append /listen
to the end of an episode’s URL: visitors on iOS will be sent to that episode on Apple Podcasts, visitors on Android will be sent to that episode on Google Podcasts, visitors on desktop will be sent to the PodLink episode page. Visitors to a link with /listen/spotify
appended will be sent to the episode in Spotify, when available. For now, the only third-party apps to support this feature are Spotify and PlayerFM.
